20 -25 K I am just curious as to what a car that nice is going for in CT
Significantly less. I was prepared to pay that, but upon asking the owner what he wanted, it was quite low. He was elderly, had no interest in the car and just wanted it gone.
Why cant I find deals like that? Less than 20K for a numbers 340 4 speed car. Looks like the car was done right too.
He owned the car for 30 years and spent quite a bit of money on it. It was a unique opportunity for me. He was a friend of my friend who I had met a few times over the years. He didn’t advertise the car. I realize he could have gotten a lot more, but he was happy with what I gave him and that was that. Go figure?
