Sorry, NOT trying to be a dick here, but why the black paint on the lower firewall?

It is not the original color so I decided black would be best for me in around the engine
Doesn’t look like the headliner will be too tough after you made it this far. What’s that coping that goes around the door pinch weld called? Windlace or something? A bunch of two inch peices used as clips and get the good expensive glue. Steam after.
But i have a feeling you know all this for some reason

Be warned, the purists will dump on you for the black engine bay, me, I don't care, in fact it continues the color scheme in my opinion.
