There is a number stamp on it: 15C 42542B06

nope no number on the sticker, the only number visible is on the steel.

Thats most likely E-body.

Not for an E body. Maybe for a van, or some early to mid 70's C body ?

no they are not! every time i go to a junkyard i always try to pull an am/fm out of something. thumbwheel or knob style. seen them go for pretty good bucks. can be converted to am /fm stereo as well and still keep the stock exterior. expensive though....400 bucks! 180 watts 4 speaker output cd and xm sat. as well! not bad for a stock radio huh?! \\/
