Info on 727/ 440 in 69 A body tail stock movement

As the rubber mount ages, you get more movement out of it as the rubber fatigues. I run the later model cross member with a poly bushing. Now keep in mind, my car is race only with a motor plate and mid plate.
 
Thx for info .Mines brand new rubber with original cross member , seems like it's moving more then it should. May change to a poly.
 
I've read numerous times about the poly mounts causing vibration. not sure if they don't absorb vibrations enough or just throw off the pinion angle.
