Ok, so a few months ago I posted the information from the fender tag on my 76 Scamp and 7demon2 helped me decode some of the stuff I was having problems decoding on my own.
The tranny code was D32 (Automatic-998 ) and I am wanting to make sure it will hold up to a carb/intake/mild cam/header upgrade. I don't plan on messing with the transmission until either: a) I decide to get a higher-stall converter or b) the thing breaks. Can I expect this thing to last on a low mile (less than 68,000) car? Any idea of what kind of HP it can handle from the factory?
I couldn't find much out there about them other than that they were a version of the 904 which is a version of the 727. Any help is appreciated...again.
