I was going to replace the tire on my spare in my 69 Dart 340 4 speed and it has an innertube in it. Is this normal and can I put a tubeless tire on it?
So you want to remove the existing tire and tube from the rim and mount a tubeless tire in it's place? All you need is a valve stem and go ahead and mount that tire.I was going to replace the tire on my spare in my 69 Dart 340 4 speed and it has an innertube in it. If that wheel won't seal, you'll know once it's inflated and the telltale signs of soap bubbles. The inner tube might have been installed because the wheel will not seal well to the tire.
You will know in a year.

Not always.
I have a spare that over a year or 2 loose most of its air, but put it in soap and you don't see anything.
I have other tires that have held air for 5+ years
