Exactly. For the GVOD to pay for itself you’d need to put something like a 150k on it or something like that.
Somewhere I did the math for my car and it just was astronomical how long it takes to recover the money spent.
Of course, that doesn’t factor in the issue of guys thinking 3.55’s are a low gear. For them, they pay back is in a more tolerable overall final gear ratio.
I still say the 4.56 is the best all around STREET gear.
Agreed. Kinda like people who pay thousands and thousands extra for a diesel motor home, over a gasser, then 8 years old its got 30,000 miles on it and they lost a load and never came remotely close to paying for the motor.
Last thing remotely on my mind is gas mileage on a 50 year old street/ street/ strip muscle car.
Heck i run 110 on a 10 to 1 motor juxt cause i like the smell of it, not like i am driving it 15k miles a year on nice summer days
