Has anyone got or know where I can find detailed instructions on installing my new Torque Converter and Flexplate on my A904??

Thanks

No links but from memory:
unbolt the starter, piss your pants after arcing the starter cables and unhook the battery, unbolt the tranny form the block, undo your kickdown and speedo cables, unbolt your dustcover and inspection plate,, unbolt the driveshaft, wipe up spilled tranny fluid, wrap tail shaft of tranny in a plastic bag, unbolt the flex plate from TC by turning the engine over by hand from the balancer, unbolt the tranny, swear alittle, get your arm out from underneath the tranny, swear again, pull the tranny out, unbolt the TC, pull TC straight out, fill new TC with ATF fluid (not quite full), slide new TC all the way into tranny, unbolt old flex plate, bolt up new one, figure out a better way to jack tranny up than by muscling it up with your legs and sliding bolts in the bracket with your left hand while you look for a wrench or hammer with your right, , get tranny bolted back up, wipe dirt and tranny fluid out of your mouth and eyes, turn the converter till it's holes line up with the holes on the flex plate, dab a tiny bit of blue lock tite on the bolts and bolt your new flexplate to your new converter, bolt up your block, starter, and kickdown and speedo cables, then search for the bolts and screws that hold your dust cover and inspection plate together. So in other words find a manual and a friend that has done it all before.

Fill the convertor the night before with 3-4 Liters of tranny oil and allow it to get the air out of it,easier to fill and get rid of trapped air.LOck tight the crank bolts and convertor bolts.Paint the flex plate in one corner. You will see that the flex plate is NOT a true square, one side is offset.Bolt the flex plate to the convertor before installing the oil and install all the four bolt.Paint one of the corners and the corner of the convertor, when you go to bolt up the convertor to the plate, match the paint on the plate to the paint on the convertor and all four holes line up first shot,Now send me some Guiness beer and we are even,Mrmopartech

Lovely job. I knew you guys would come through for me.
