So I'm piecing my dash back together after a rebuild. I'm bench testing the cluster. I've grounded the cluster to a battery. I have turn signals, e flashers, the highheam light, and the oil light. I can not get the cluster lights to work. runnings lights and headlights function New headlight switch, new light bulbs, a cleaned and a polished printed circuit board. Fuse test good and the same fuse powers other stuff that works fine. What in the hell am I missing?

I believe the power for the inst. lights comes of headlight switch reostat, is the knob turned all the way off? If that is OK check the PCB for power and ground on instr.
light traces...all you need is power across the bulb to light. No good there trace back
to connector etc to see where you lose power or ground to cluster.

Check the ground screws on the circuit board. There are multiple grounds for the lights. I put star washers under the screws to make sure they have some bite and make a good connection.
