Looking good. I've bookmarked this one!
Alot of the Rust-Oleum is oil base...Krylon dries fast.
Rustoleum takes forever, and a day.
Not really... especially not after the BP spillRust-O-leum has synthetic fish oil. Ever seen a rusty fish?
Excellent, great work! I'd be scared to death the oven cleaner would cook my stuff!nice work, And if you really want to strip it clean without the hard scrubbing try Easy off "yellow" top original oven claener, spray it.bag it and come back an hour or 2 later and it looks Clean as a whistleView attachment 1715757699 View attachment 1715757698

2part spray paint. similar to spectra chrome on this set. (darn company went out of business on me though.) I'm looking at other options. Is yours the paint?
get rid of all the ugly stuff and doesn't hurt the plastic at all. works good on removing anodizing on aluminum for repairs too!Excellent, great work! I'd be scared to death the oven cleaner would cook my stuff!
This is an old post, but I can attest that the Easy-Off is a great idea. Just did my instrument bezel and it worked great. Before, I had been letting the plastic pieces I was restoring soak in 99% isopropyl alcohol... it works, but not nearly as good or fast as the Easy-Off.nice work, And if you really want to strip it clean without the hard scrubbing try Easy off "yellow" top original oven claener, spray it.bag it and come back an hour or 2 later and it looks Clean as a whistle
