[Found!] instrument panel bulb sockets - 1970 Dart

I would like to get 8 bulb sockets for my standard dash 1970 Dart, I understand that some of the new ones are junk, so a set or nice used ones or high quality new, please. Send PM with pic.

You can buy them new. They are the 5/8 sockets, not the 1/2 which are more common. I bought some at Oreilly, but I don’t remember the part number.
I think some of the ones that people call junk are the wrong size. I bought the 1/2 inch ones first because I didn’t know any better. They wouldn’t make good contact and would fall out of the sockets. Finally figured it out.
The ears bust off some of the 50 year old ones, so you might not be any better there. Just my experience.

The little ears that hold them in might snap right off of used. I first bought some Chinese junk sockets at ebay. Next I bought new Standard brand, individually packaged. A lot of searching to find the best price though.
