Intake gasket question

This is a newbie question, but here goes. I have an engine gasket set, and it came with two intake manifold gaskets, one metal and one fiber. Which do I use or both? Any help is appreciated.

I would use the fiber. I haven't use the steel shim gaskets in many years. Compare the intake port size to the gasket and make sure they will seal.

Yep, use the fiber one.

The steel gasket is for stock cast iron intakes and heads...

aluminum intakes use the fiber....

The steel one works on minty-clean virgin factory parts.Almost exclusively.
The fiber works on almost anything, and you don't have to be quite as anal about cleaning.
