Intake gaskets

checking for opinions on metal intake gaskets for LA engines, ordered gaskets from advance and when I opened them they are the metal ones, I'll have to reorder to get the other style. Anybody used the metal ones, I never have and I'm concerned about how well they seal. They may be awesome I've just never used them. Any input. Thanks

metal gaskets-not the hot setup with aluminum heads or intakes or etc. I run fpp 1213, a softer gasket on heads 3418915 : 05 05 70 + 05 07 70 , retighten the intake bolts 3 times

On a total stock engine, with no machined parts, they seem to work fine.
I would not use them with an aluminum intake,which tends to creep.Ive never tried to reuse them and I doubt that would work; unlike the FelPros, which I have successfully reused several times.

Yeah I'm using an aluminum intake, I went ahead and took them back and ordered the other ones. Just didn't feel comfortable about it. Thanks for the input.
