'74 Duster 360
While I've got the 360 engine out and re-gasketing it, thought about my intake. I've got a few selections to choose from. The ones I've got are:
casting number----3698434--original to car, spreadbore with EGR valve
3671918--1973 340, same as above but without EGR valve
3462848--1970 340, square bore
I've previously ran the 3698434 with an adaptor plate because I'm using a Holley 3310. It ran fine with no problems. I was wondering if I would be gaining any performance with the others, or would I gain enough for the trouble by installing a dual plane aluminum. I would of course have to find and purchase an aluminum one, and with money being tight, that would be the biggest obstacle. Thank you for the inputs. Also, does anyone an oil pan for it really cheap, like maybe free? The reason I got it out to begin with is because of a persistant leak at rear seal of pan.
Thanks again,
BarryC.
