Well, LOL, this reminds me of a "story."
When I was at NAS Miramar (70-74) the street going past all the hangers had diagonal parking for officers, so you had a mix of cars, and the 'jocks' had Vettes, Porshcs, Beamers, etc.
One day I made my way down there and here's a bit of malfeasance. Some sailors, had been towing one of the big tall power units behind one of the little tractors. (Those things, by the way, some of them had floor - shifted Ford autos, and used a Mustang style floor shifer!!!!)
Anyhow, the Pintle hitch had failed, or not properly latched, and the APU had gone off on it's own, clipping along the rears of several cars along the road. I don't remember how many it hit, but several.
Geez that place has changed, hard to recognize anything. They even changed the name of the road to Boyington.
