not me but: "I once had a writing assignment in the 3rd grade with the prompt, "Your favorite place in the world."
At the time, my uncle had a huge TV, an enormous collection of movies, video games, musical instruments, and huge floor length windows overlooking the ocean. So naturally, to my 9 year old self, this was heaven on earth.
In my adolescent mind, there was nothing wrong with beginning my paper with the sentence, "My favorite place in the world is my uncle's bedroom."
In retrospect, I imagine I provided my poor teacher with both a huge moral dilemma and a new topic for the teachers' lounge. I am still horribly embarrassed."
-made me laugh at loud
