I have just acquired a 1970 plymouth duster, originally petty blue, is this rare?
Petty Blue was not one of the "high impact" colors... it is less rare than others... typically it is the other options that determine the rarity of a car - not that color doesn't come into play. Tell us more about your car!

I'm probably just going to paint it lime greenRare or not that would be pretty cool to see on a 70 Duster!
Oh ok, it looked too light, is that a common color on these thenFrom the picture, that doesn't look like Petty Blue to me. More like B5 blue.
the VIN? left corner of the dash - there also is (or should be) a fender tag - which will net you more info once decodedwell, i think it was a slant six, it's an automatic, Petty blue or some kind of blue, its lighter, i need to look vin over, where is it located

Don't know about the rarity of either color, but here's a couple pics for reference. The Dart is B5, the wagon is Petty Blue.

"Petty Blue" was not metallic. That might make things easier to figure out.
