If your 78 intake is a two barrel, nothing but the weight. I "GUESS" they have it priced like that since MP hasn't made that intake in YEARS, but somebody would have to be a special kinda stupid to get that when you can buy a Clifford or Offenhauser much cheaper.

Just another parts price gouger. Throw it out and see who bites.
They were less than $300 new.
If he gets his price,good for him I guess.

I have that exact same 2 BBL intake on the 83 D150. I bought used in about 2010 for $200.00
With the exception of being cast aluminum and having the Mopar name on it, it is like any other slant six 2 BBL intake.

Except for a few minor differences, production cast iron and M1 are pretty close. (Blue cast iron has a thick carb gasket on it) Putting these 2 on a bathroom scale, 7 lbs vs. 20.
