is it tough enough

Hey FABO family! Scored a nice 8&1/4 rear with sure grip and 4:10 gears. Sure grip unit is new and axle has maybe 20 light passes on it. I plan on putting it in about a 350 horse 74 Dart. Going to run it mostly on street and occasional fun run at strip. Will this thing hold up and be reliable? I know a nice 8&3/4 is the best but, this was a great deal for a bolt in rear. What do you guys think? Thanks for any info or experiences any of you have had with these.

It will be just fine. Now if you were another 100 in HP and seriously racing it I bet it would still hold up, but at that point it would be wiser to upgrade.

I agree with bad sport. My 360 makes over 350HP and my rear does just fine. I would think about that ratio if you are planning highway cruising, but if you are running to a cruise in or the strip you are ok.
