Is this a good idea?

I found this plymouth duster for my dodge demon clone project. But for the work it needs, is it worth it? (New seats, new dash, and I can't tell if that's rust or leaves in the engine bay). What do you guys think?

For me, and in my state, "no title" would be a gigantic red flag, "go through the courts," I don't think so Tim

When someone passes on and some relative or other designate is handling their affairs, they normally have legal authority, so this sounds like someone bought this with no title, the owner died, and now they can't get the title.

Having to go through the court system to get a title would be a deal killer for me.

For the price...a title in hand as a seller should not be an issue. I just moved from VA and I had a hell of a time getting a title for a vehicle I purchased from a dealer in NH. NH does not issue a title for older vehicles...bill of sale only. Check with MD DMV. Might be better to spend at bit more and get a different project.

I seen that car on Craigslist,
No title, No deal
Sounds like a relative in "possession of the car" is trying to un-load it.
Before the "relative that gets the car in the will can claim it"
Does look like a decent car.......if it were not for the title issue.
