Island Map??

well i dont seem to have my book from school that had all my math in it for figuring what you need for a given app and potential and being rusty im having a hard time!

i remember the graph for a boost app being called an island map (correct?) you figure out the paramiters of the engine and find the blower/super/turbo with the best map in your area needed.

so am i right? is it an "island map".

its easy, the closer to the "eye of the storm" the better it will be for your combo. by doing the math for a given engine you'll get the info for a given rpm and make a plot, after say 4 plots (or every 1000 rpm) you'll see if you get to far out of the eye. then find another map (different pulleys/blower, turbo etc)
