So I stuffed some 17x9's under the back of the wagon today. Its a little tight, but I think it will fly I just wish the wheels were fully polished. Maybe next weekend I can get the disc brakes on the front and see how the 17x8's fit.

They look real nice. A little close at the spring, but might be ok. I've run a wheel tire combo on some other cars like that with the white letters turned in and it gave them a little shave :D.

Are those Phord wheels? I didn't think the later wheels fit a Mo-pattern.

Looks like it should work. No closer to the spring then a 245/60-14 on stock wheels. And the 17" tire sidewall is a lot stiffer then the huge floppy 14" tires sidewall.

I'm running 17x8 mustang bullitt wheels. they are the same bolt pattern but I had to open up the hub register a slight bit to fit over the hub on the factory axles and spindles. Nice choice, just repaint them lol.

Remember between the tire, wheel, and leaf springs there can be as much a 1/2" flex when turning. Just be careful. I would even run a thin spacer just to give that extra little clearance.
