Here is a vid. In some parts of the track they are going over 500 mph. about 2.50 in Straga puts the pass on Dago Red for the lead. Turn up the sound and injoy.

Here is my favorit air racer Rear Bear. It is a WW2 Navy F8F Bearcat with a Right 3350 cid radial engine. Last I hered he held the record for the fastest
piston powered aircraft in the world.

I saw five pilots killed within one lap of a T-6 race at Cape May, NJ in 1972. Two adjacent pylons. Two collided on the first and three on the second. Nobody could even breathe; we stood wide-eyed in stunned in disbelief.
