I believe "Abarth" is a term used to describe a performance version of various models, not an actual model. Kind of like "R/T".

Also I find very interesting, since mazda was brought up, that the new Fiat 124 spyder is actually a rebadged miata. I haven't read anything a bout "getting the patent back".

What I can't figure out is why they would farm out a car that is basically the most recognized nodel of their brand.

My son is all up on that but I agree with you doesn't make sense.

Sounds like your son is buying everything the Fiat salesman is selling including a great tale as the clincher.

Mine isn’t a Fiat...it’s a Daimler Chrysler. More like a Mercedes... it uses a lot of the same designs as on Mercedes.
