No, not the drug you take when four-wheelin'...
I've got an '07 Grand Cherokee that I'm replacing the rear axle bearings in; it has electronic limited slip- does this thing require friction modifier to be added along with the fresh gear oil?
Did a basic internet search and came up empty handed.

Yes it dose. The spec. is 4 fluid Oz. or 118ml. I usually just dump one bottle in.

Any limited slip does. Are you 100% sure it's not an electronic locker? The locker would not require it.

Well, it's called "electronic limited slip" in the manual, so I'm assuming it's not a locker. It's all stock.

Then I would run the additive. That sounds like it's an LSD in normal operation and then locks up at the flip of a switch.
