I figured I would take a wallow around a wrecking yard local to me to see what he has. He has been closed for a while(bad back) now he is open only once in a while. Not any hi-po stuff, and lots have been picked over of course, but there are still some decent parts. I took pics of all brands. 200 pics so be patient. Im going to go back and talk to him, he apparently has a ton of Charger parts tucked away. Everything is for sale and I would think fairly reasonable. May have to buy a case of PB Blaster to get some of the stuff off!! Looks like some decent grills too. The old Chrysler was the only BB I saw. If you can ID any of the stuff feel free to chime in, as well if you are interested lemme know. Enjoy!

Awesome pics steve thanks for sharing!! Love that chevy panel wagon soo sweet would make a good grave digger clone lol

Hey, those last 2 pics are a 64 Plymouth B-Body. Any more pics of it??? I need a bunch of parts.

Your guys junk yards look like our parks with a bunch of cars parked in them! Wild! Im used to rows of cars up on 2 feet of welded rims over compacted dirt or blacktop with absorb-all everywhere. Course there are NO RWD Mopars to be had, but once in a blue moon. You know like this, which by the way still had a 340 in it!

If there's anything left of the '67 Firebird in your first batch of pics it might be worth saving to someone. Seems like those things are gold regardless of condition.

Definitely a cool place to spend some time. The only good one relatively close to me closed down several years back. I remember going through there back before I knew what anything was though and it was fun to wander around and see what they had.

There are 2 junkyards near me that are full of 60s to 80's cars and trucks. I might get some pics sometime too and post them. Ya I guess our junkyards in upper US and Canada are much different than that of California. Just a bunch of cars parked in the bush and fields around here.

i dont see any junk in this thread so i think you guys mean Salvage yard pics.

Check out the 72 Dodge truck, It should have a 8 3/4 in it, It will be a 489 case and more than likely have 3:23 or 3:55 in it.

awesome steve, i saw your alternator brackets in the white C body

LOL i saw that too...gonna make a list! I saw a couple sets of headrests, grille pieces, brackets, some dog dish caps...for the most part the firechickens were pretty picked over...more pics coming, just on break from work.

I could use almost everything on that!

makes me sad to see all these cars rusting away. i dont think there is any yards left like that here in nc.

Looks like some good 67 to 72 GM truck stuff. I have always liked those trucks (sorry to the A body purists) but I bought a 72 GMC fleetside 2WD short bed when my son was 2 weeks old for $900 that I have packed away in my pole barn. He is 6 now and after my latest Jeep YJ project we (my son and I) will be tearing this truck down and doing a frame off for me to play with until he is old enough to rebuild it to his liking. I picked this truck due to its ease of parts and general popularity. Can you imagine how cool a hot rod this will be in 2022 when he turns 16? This will be my truck to teach my son how to tear a vehicle down and rebuild it. Can't wait for the day he cruises with my Formula S in something we built together.
