...Just a start on the 72 DART.

-
I have the same sort of issues on my ride but I'm not sure of how to attack the problem as I've never done it before and I don't have the $ for a full blown restore.
Your Dart looks great! Looks like you learned what you needed to know from Hck and Pack.
Thanks!
yes sir ,you should check him out "hack and pack" on the youtubes .two years ago I never touched bondo or a sprayer. now I can fake it pretty well.:angel12: all the tools you need are at harbour frieght on the cheap..grinders-sanders-sanding discs -sprayer-compressor-all for under 200 smackers...they allways have the awesome sales too.

Well hurry up man, I want to see it, lol.

That engine and compartment is a remarkable transformation, looking good!!
:glasses7: Thanks,,well this sanding thing is revealing some skeletons ....found some hidden bondo work :wack:..so still have the other half to sand and prep :banghead: ..oh and tape the bumpers off..tomorrow will be a 50/50 , to put down paint..#-o
However my molded dash cover came today :blob: .

PAINT IS ON BABY! ! ! I showed this driveway restoration , that you dont have to be a master "paint/body " person. I used my common sense and alot of youtube searchin.
and this was done for under 300 $$ and thats w/ the dash pad cover. all a labor of love for cars. and did this all in a month..."POOR BOY CUSTOMS" :burnout:
Now a little TLC on the insides of classic machine to come.:glasses7:

Very inspiring!
1. Get a plan (stick with it)
2. Get tools and material
3. Get it done
4. Enjoy
Well executed...... Well done

Getting the interior buttoned up.
.I had to hunt down a glove box door, and ash tray (craigslist find),and a old am/fm stereo .found a "sparkomatic "(swap meet find) to power the realistic speakers..:D good ole Radio shack system. Then finely bought a dash pad from -stockinteriors.com- for 111.00$ delivered ,cheapest on the inner webs.
