I have a magnum 360 crate motor from mopar performance that I bought in 2000. It has been sitting after only 6 months of driving. (my dad took it away. Too many tickets for a 16 yr old). So I am back to building another Dart and wanting to make sure I am not missing anything.
The motor should be good, my dad kept it clean and dry for the past 12 years so I am good on that, but I bought a 727 from a guy on Craigslist, that was already rebuilt, it looks clean and I know it isn't the safest way to go but it is done. I am also putting a turbo action manual valve body to put in it. I bought the one with first gear down shift, I had read the exploding torque flights thread.
So I guess my question is, is there something I am missing or should or look for n the 727? I bought a summit torque converter with advertised 3000 rpm stall. Budget was getting tit but let me know. Is that a good stall speed for the street, 71 dodge dart. Anything "FYI" type of advise is welcome.
