I drove my 70 Dart 410 4spd with 3.55 gears to work today.

I first got into in with a Motorcycle from light to light. No way he was gunna catch me! He thought he was but no cigar!

Then........

I RUINED a 70 Chevelle I lined up with him 5 different times right after the motorcycle. I am sure he had NOS, it came on hard but the 410 Stroker Kicked his assssss 5 times in a row! I think I caught the guy by surprise because the chevelle was no dog but didn't have enough for the 4spd Stroker!! haaaa He was yelling out his window something is wrong with my Low gear......that is Bullchittttt, there was something wrong with his car choice.......haaaa
He left with his tail between his legs.......too bad he swung at me first! I will swear to it in court!!!:-D

Your gonna be flamed for "street racing", but I smoke ricer cars when they try me on my 11 sec bike all the time and it feels goooooddd.... lol

Boy you get to have all the fun down there in the city. No one up here to play with and no stop lights either.

Every time I drive that car someone wants a piece of it. I am very selective when it comes to that stuff. I don't waste any fuel on Ricers around here unless it is a Subaru STI...........Then it is on!!:angry7:
 
yea, some of them sti are pretty wicked too

Must not been much of a bike, when I had my last sport bike, a GSXR 1000, I NEVER lost to a 4 wheeled vehicle. With a good rider on it the bike would click off a 9.8 at the strip. Hard to argue with 144 rwhp in a 400 pound package....

I agree but he still got his *** handed to him!
 
Dang it Mad Dart. :angry7: Nobody has even challenged me in my dart yet in almost 3,000 miles of driving. Maybe it's because of the 325 drag radials, 4-link and the fact that my 318 sounds like a big block with the flowmasters. LOL. I did have a Ricer pull up next to me the other day reving his engine, but he turned right immediately after.

I here that. Bikes are quick and fast. Never raced one before but one time on the freeway I got to play a little with one. I was in my Dart going to a show. Riding along with me cutting through trafic was this lady on a green bike. She was good I could tell and we would take turnes getting through trafic. Then all of a suden trafic almost stops. So we start cutting through it. Next thing you know we star seeing some kind of hatch back rices then more. As we get up a little farther we are now suronded buy them. We can now see why trafic is so slow. The ricers are taking turns taking up all three lanes and going from a stop and racing each other. So we get up to the front row and they take off. But me and the lady on the bike were ready. One of them got a little ahead of the others and I blew through that hole and past them like they were sitting still. The bike lady was right there with me. So we are going through the gears and I hit 120 and decide that she wins. At that point I am at 5500RPM and looking for another gear that I don't have so I let of. She just keep on going and took off in to the sun set:toothy10:

Almost every Friday afternoon the Hot Rods start cruising around. Old Town Temecula is a haven for Muscle Cars. They put on 2 or 3 shows per year and still almost every weekend cars go cruise. So in a sense if I drive the car on a Friday I can almost guarantee someone is going to try to take my reputation!
 
I'm getting ready to go to the ball, or I'd be on my way! I'm itching to REALLY open it up instead of just short little bursts between stop lights. I don't think I've been over 4K in 3rd yet.

I really recommend getting use to the car up on top before we go after it. Mine does some crazy floating like it wants to take flight in 3rd and 4th gear. It goes straight as an arrow but the front end is REALLY Light! The engine makes the car feel like it weighs alot less than it really does.
 
I haven't gotten anyone to rev at my pos yet... it does sound pretty healthy though... :/

I did have some dude in a truck try and race from a light...I played a little bit. lol

Thats true they do seem to get lighter. They can get to be a handful at much over 90MPH. Even on a good road.

You running any poly front end bushings? I was thinking that may help some. Was going to use them next front end rebuild.

No not yet. It doesn't get all crazy and go all over the place or anything it just feels really light is all. It hits 90mph like right now. I have took it to 120-130MPH. It still goes real straight. You just need to be ready for whatever!!

Mine felt like that with a fully rebuilt front end and no sway bars. It was SCARY around 100mph. With front and rear aftermarket swaybars it seems so much more planted to the ground.

Not sure what your 318 is but, mines a stock motor down to the 2 barrel. Id guess at least 100k miles on it if not 150k or 200. I got a 2 inch exhaust system with an H pipe off craigslist for 100 bucks and at carlisle i got two glasspacks for 15 dollars all connected to the factory 318 manifolds. It sounds great. My dad has a 327 engine in his truck with a 2 1/4 exhaust system with an x pipe. he has had about 10 different mufflers on the truck and he keeps telling me he wishes his truck sounded as good as my car! Nobody will go stoplight to stoplight with me either, maybe my car has more bark than bite.:toothy10:
 
Thats crazy! I told you your a sick puppy. I am too afraid of getting caught then loose my job, then I would be F-ed. Back in the day I raced a GSXR1100 on the street. Lets just say we took their money 4 times over! I made them give me 4 lengths, beat 'em. Then 2 cars, beat 'em. Heads up, beat 'em. Then I gave them a mercy race and gave them 4 cars and the move, beat 'em! That was a good night! Lets just say getting a race after that with my turbo car (it had nitrous on it at that time, no turbo) was impossible!

By the way, wanna piece of my Chevelle? Its just a lowly big block. Actually it would be fun to rent a track and have a sh&t talkin good time!
