I just scored a TCI 111300 904 Street Fighter Transmission and a TCI 141300 Breakaway 2400 stall convertor. Is anyone out here familiar with this set up? I am going to install this next weekend, looking forward in seeing better launch from my Duster with this combination. Will I need to upgrade the factory flex plate for this set up? Please post info on this setup if you have any knowledge about it. Thanks!!!!

you're gonna need to shorten your driveshaft for sure. From what I'm told, the 904's are a tick quicker in the 1/4, I guess it has something to do with weight & centrifugal force...

Actually, if you go from a 727 to a 904, you will need a LONGER driveshaft, and the small slip yoke. I personally dont like TCI converters, you would in my opinion, be better off with a local rebuild, and a quality converter. Like a Turbo/Action, I have had good luck with those.

and my butt knew that #-o because the 904 is shorter, my brain is working backwards lately...:dontknow:
