Does anyone make a jute carpet padding kit for a-bodys? Looking to put carpeting in and want descent padding under it. Any suggestions? Thanks

Most carpet kits come with jute padding.

Try Classic Industries, they just bought ACC.

Carpet from ACC just purchased was terrible. Rolled up tighter then a Holiday Nut Roll and stuffed in a small box. After weeks of getting it to flattened out laying in a body shell and steaming it, I Found if the molded 4 speed hump is in place the drivers heel pad is not even close to where it should be.

Well i also bought one recently still in box. So now I’ll take it out and start the process as well if it took that long.

Mine wasn't terrible but the molded 4 speed hump has a bubble behind the hump and nothing I've done has taken it out, but rather started to melt the carpet. Gonna have to live with it I guess. Maybe I can stash stuff in the void :p

They left a big fold in the jute on the piece they glued to the back section. Bad enough that I had to rip it off and replace it. Found a roll of jute on ebay that did the job and I used the rest to pad out places under the carpet that wasn't covered by the jute they glued on the carpet. Center hump and sides got extra attention.
