Does anyone have experience with Kevko oil pans. I'm still working on a 360 for my buddies Scamp. I need an oil pan, as his is a little messed up.
I came across one on Marketplace that's for a 360 and looks pretty nice. The guy had it on a motor, but never in a car. Just wondering if any of you guys
could tell me any info. Thanks, Gene.

No experience here, but be sure and check for oil pump clearance. I bought a "stock like" Milodon, and that damn thing will not fit a high performance pump

I recently bought 3 Kevco pans, but only needed 2. I bought the wrong rear pan relief, which was for LA340's, 273's and 318's. The 360's and 5.9 & 5.2 Magnums use a slightly smaller rear pan relief, which leaves me with an unused Truck pan for a Dodge Dakota and an LA 340 etc.

Some have had k frame fitting problem with early pans and had to grind clearance with early pans, I have one on a 340 and it was very close getting .

I bought 2 and Both had issues with the end not made correctly. There were also other quality issues. So plan on doing some modifying for fitment

I ran a Kevko pan on my last engine without any problems so we plan on using one on my current 416 build. Seems to be a good quality product made in the Midwest. SOLD

Thanks for ALL the replies! The guy that has the one I'm looking at, had it on a motor, but never in a car. I was concerned about fit at the K-frame, steering linkage, headers and such.
I guess the pans are only as good as the guy that put it together. Thanks to everyone! Gene.

Had 2 Milodon pans leak at welds. Anything you use is only as good as the quality of the product that comes to you.

Being an engine machine shop we build motors for many different customers and usually use what they purchase. The reason there are 2 KEVKO pans in the picture because. the first one was not fixable without major work. They blamed it on shipping but the box was perfect. The second one came and had the same damage. You can definitely see they were damaged before they were coated. So the steel pans they purchased for the build were probably defective.

Yes I am not saying the pans were not fixable. But for what they charge they should be a bolt on product. My son can't pay his employees to fix pans that cost $500.00

Had a 440 pan with the sump welded on backwards from another company for a Ford. I believe Milodon is better quality from experiences. What I can advise you to do is fill what ever pan you choose with red diesel and let it sit on a dry floor and make sure the welds don't have a pin hole. Bit us twice. We went with This Kevco because it was a long sump for a chassis car.

2 don't come with the same damage from shipping and not a mark on the box. And I personally told them to look at the second pan before shipping it out. They lied.

And you know the old saying . "screw me once shames on you" "Screw me twice shames on me"

Oldmanmopar... Thanks! I'm going to look at this pan on Wednesday. I can't take the motor, but I will take the timing chain cover and fit it. I worked part time at an auto shop
that did a lot of Stock/Super Stock front ends. And a few of the stocker guys started using Dakota pans and pick-ups because they found some HP on the dyno. They fit fairly fine on B and E body stuff. However, they are a pain on A body cars, and I really don't want to end up with those problems. And from the looks of the pictures I saw, and from what I've read here, this one might be OK. Thanks everybody for the info. Gene.

Both of my Demons have Kevco pans on them. One's a 408 and the other a 340. Both fit well and were very clean as-received. I've had NO issues with either pan. FWIW...

Next time I need an
Oil pan it will be a Kevco. After running Milidon oil pans for years I got a new one that was all messed up. I mean it needed major fab work for a 4 inch crank and they brag they work up to 4.125, ya right. After sending Tom pictures of the changes to the new pan all I got from him was lies but he ended up saying when he got another shipment I would get a free pan. Well I called a year later and he promised that my new pan would be shipped within weeks. Well guess what??? It’s a twin to the messed up one I fixed. I’ll fix it again but I’m done with them unless I find nice used older ones.

I posted pictures to back up what I stated. If you have pictures of a defective Milodon post what you had to repair. The only problem I have had with their pan was being to tight to fit over 4 bolt billet main caps and pin holes in welds.

I had a long post with lots of pictures of what I had to do. A couple members set theirs back.

I didn't see that. Everything has been going to crap anymore. Its hard to order tooling or parts for the shop. A major supplier just got wiped out in NC. So I don't think its going to get better any time soon. anyone have any experience with Steff's pans. Stef's Fabrication Specialties - B & B Performance Pricey but I from what I was told they are perfect.
