Anybody run the M301? How do they compare to the Milidon or Moroso street-strip type pans?

Have read, - not the most pretty to look at (welds/paint) .. but have more features than the other pans, baffleing ect. - I'd rather have a pan with better oil control vs. looks my-self.

They offer them at a decent price and have been in business since 1986- that's pretty good in my book. - TIA

I have one on my small block and am well satisfied.

That's the pan I PLAN on using. I have heard nothing but good things about them. I would call them and ask them about any clearance issues.

As far as looks go, I have a cheap chrome oil pan on mine now, and you can't even tell!! Slap some engine paint on it and you'll be fine.

I run it too, nice pan scapers, baffle site plug etc. Better ground clearance, adds 1 qt and on an early A body needs some minor mods, may clear ok on a 67 and up?

Hey:

I have a Kevko pan on my 5.9. I really like it. It has more features than other pans in this price range. I particularly like the higher drain plug, so if you want to go "full guns" you can drain all the oil except for what's in the trapdoor sump (unfortunately my Comp headers keep me from being able to use it - DOH!).

I touched up the paint a little bit after I got it but it fit fine. I also took the time to clean it out before using as there was a little bit of slag in the pan.

Recommended!

I used those pans on both the 340 and 360 I ran circle track with. They fit perfect, I would recomend them to anyone!!

I run one in my Barracuda. The pan is 6 quarts plus the oil filter capacity so for most it is a 7 quart capacity. It clears the k-frame in my car no problem and the TTI headers fit good too. Ground clearance is excellent; it does not hang below the k-frame. I used paint stripper to remove all paint because I wanted it engine color. Yes welds are ugly but it does not leak and no one sees it anyway. I really like the pan and when you call them they are in the US and are really good to talk to on the phone.

I know a guy with a '72 Charger small block and the pan hit the k-frame. He sent it back to Kevko, they modified it, and shipped it right back to him and now it fits. But they fit the a-bodies no problems.

Thanks' for the replies all. - Will be ordering one shortly!

Sorry I didn't check back until now to answer your question. I didn't have any clearance problems with the k frame.
