kick down cable adjustment

having hard time getting kick down adjusted not sure if adjusting the right way, which way is kick down bracket on trans when kick down is fully engaged and doing its job, all the way back towards rear end or all the way forwards towards engine? thanks

Kickdown lever should be all the way back at WOT.

The lever on the trans should be all the way back, when throttle is wide open.
