kick down cable kit

i have found out my dart doesnt have a kickdown linkage so i am trying to see if anyone has tried the budget kickdown cable offered on ebay as it is about less than half of other kits i looked at trying to save where i can

most of the cable kickdown kits will not bolt up to the stock throttle bracket...

usually need new one from ARE which is sold at mancini...

Kinda in the same boat here! I have been trying to get mine adjusted right forever. I will probably just go with the Lokar kit too. I have heard nothing but good reviews on it.

You can get the Lokar from Advance and other places cheaper than direct if you don't mind waiting some. I had to "engineer" somewhat on the bracket for my Eddy 600 but works great. Just be sure to leave extra out the forward sleeve for adjustments.

I have both the cable kickdown and the cable throttle Lokar ones...you will need their bracket also....it works great..

I bought the E-bay specials and they seem to be just like the Lokars! They came with the brackets and all the hooks ups. The one for the kickdown mount on the trans had to be bent 90 degrees for my application but everything seems to work great. I saved about $60 going with the knock-offs!!
