Hey Kim here are the pictures of my setup, it's a Holly 4776S. I don't think you can tell from the second picture but the upper rod is on a slight angle from the back to the carb stud this is why I think the rod I asked you about will work.

Hey Kim some more pictures. I was thinking about just bending that rear bracket in picture two so the upper bar is strait in line with the carb stud and then maybe just welding on a small piece of steel on the bottom of the upper arm for the return spring.
