I know that lots of places sell the 4x6 ones without speakers, with cheap speakers and with 120-Watt Pioneer as top dog. Although is best to get empty and add good 4x6 yourself.
What's your recommendation on good 4x6?
And more importantly does anyone know if they are available with 6.5" holes for more affordable speakers. I know years ago the Slant Six Board Guy was offering them.

I believe the same one who was working on early-A plastic glove compartments, forgot which Member, maybe @Charrlie_S knows....
As far as sound stuff, I haven't bought auto sound anything in ~35yrs.........

I bought them without the speakers. It's extra work, but fun to me. Any of the name brand speaker companies are good. Get a set that come with the protective grills on the outside of the speakers because your feet are down there.

Pioneer makes a good quality 4x6 car speaker. 340six, I've had pioneer speakers back in the day

Looks like A body kick panels in 6,6" were short lived. Wishful thinking so figured I would ask as only available now in 4" and 4x6 empty or with grills but kind of cheap speakers and do include grills
Grills are like 15 bucks shipped at Amazon eBay.
Like Dan says Pioneer is good but has quite a few 4x6 so no telling what ones come in the loaded kick panels.
So, I agree best to get empty panels and add my own. Was hoping someone made 6 inch or 6.5 since they have many to choose from.
The older car my wife drives had good factory ones think Infinity? In doors and rear plus a factory powered sub-woofer. but weather or age got them. So, I bought 2 pair of these Polk Audio DB 652 6.5" they sound great.
Polk Audio DB 652
So was hoping to do the same on the kick panels with some Polk, Infinity, Etc. with some Best Buy, Crutchfield, New Egg open box ones
Really good ones are up there and bet even know 4x6 bet they would not fit.
Infinity Reference REF467F

Infinity Kappa 463XF

When I bought my 4x6 kick panels I was going to get them without the speakers. When I looked on Crutchfield for speakers none of them included the grills. So I got the ones with the Pioneer speakers. They were good for 120 watts. They sound pretty good to me. I don't know if they are the same speakers now as I bought my panels 5 years ago.

Can you take a picture of the panels / grills? Are they metal or plastic?
Thanks for everyones input.
