I grabbed the short burr as an example of what I’m used to using to quickly get rid of materiel. On the right is a Killer Carbide. The top picture is the three KC’s I bought. I put in about 2 hours on the grinder tonight and the KC burr is far and away better than the other style. It will remove material just as quickly but it is much more controllable. It is much less susceptible to troughs and leaves a much better finish.

I’m going to send a couple of my worn burrs back to him to resharpen and then I’m going to order a few more. For aluminum work these are the cats behind.

Thanks for the review. I wish more people would do it. We as a group could eliminate a lot of crappy parts and save money

So let's see the results.

I wanted the wife to do some filming but she has a report due so that was not happening. And I can’t figure out how to start and pause a video so I can make some comments and then do some work and start the video again without being separate videos.

Tomorrow I will take some video and post it.

I have used the short, coarse fluted type shown on the left on alum & never really liked it. I always use the fine flute burrs now.

Yeah, the style of burr on the left are harder to control and tend leave troughs and you have to be very careful when you get into a tight radius or it will start to chatter horribly.

The high helix Killer Carbides do not do that. Very smooth. Very fast material removal and they are very friendly when working in a radius.

Sold me on it, it’ll be worth a try.
Thanks for the video.

Haha, just checked out your channel.
The little backfire on biggas 340 you go " god damn it" that's some funny stuff dude. I'd be a sub of course I'm not one to follow pansy *** community guidelines. ( I do hear) so I can't sub or comment to YouTube. Nice work with those burrs.
Sposin I should get me some too

Pardon the hideous video work. I suck at it but you can see what I did with the burrs.

If you haven’t already looked at phone holder/stands I highly recommend something like these. Works great for taking pictures, videos, and sitting at the table surfing. Angle adjustable and stable. Easily found online.

Never mind I found it on your video. I’ll have to check again as I couldn’t find him on Facebook

If you search Killer Carbide Burrs it should come up. I forgot if I mentioned he does all kinds of burrs, not just the high helix burrs. He sharpens used burrs too. I should have mentioned that in my video. I’ll add it to the comments.

I couldn’t find him on Facebook as I was searching in the sales business groups. I googled it and his Facebook page came up so I spent some time on there. Pretty interesting so I messaged him to see if he takes PayPal or what payment he takes.

I went to watch some of the hi helix burrs in action & wow they are fast and move a ton of material

You’re welcome. Did I mention he makes these by hand??? I need to watch my video and make sure I either said that stuff or add it in the comments.

Ya I watched the video of him doing it by hand. That’s crazy. He messaged me back so I’ll get an order together.
