Ok so I wanna hear what knives you like, and why you like them. The models, brand, anything. Do you like fixed blades? Folders? Double edged/Single Edged? Reveiw your favorite knives here.

Ive always loved SOG blades, Benchmade, and CRKT blades alot. I recently purchased 2 new EDC folders and I made a few quick reviews, first reaction out of the box, checking out the features, and a few out of the box sharpness tests.
1. Kershaw Scalion 'torsion bar' assisted opening EDC folder:

2. CRKT M-16 10KZ EDC Tanto folder:

A more heavy duty test at the end of vid 2 for both knives.

I have spyderco hk, the one I have is light strong and sharp as hell. I have had it for many years and never been disappointed. it will cut through thick wet rope and is very light so for backpacking/climbing it is great

My EDC blade for about two years has been the Benchmade 615 (mini-Rukus) with a plain edge. I prefer the plain edge for EDC carry, as serrations just add complication to maintaining the edge and I don't spend a significant portion of my day cutting seatbelts nor 1" rope. The S30V steel holds a 30° included angle without issue and seems to be nearly impervious to corrosion. I like the AXIS locking mechanism as it's truly ambidextrous, stupid-strong and keeps stuff I'd rather not wreck (fingertips, etc) away from the edge when closing the thing. The micarta/G10 scales don't even get notably slippery when covered in blood. I don't know of another knife on the current market I'd rather have.

These guys follow me around almost everywhere.

I don't collect knives so much as I do swords. I have a bunch of Katana's and Katana sets of different styles. I also have several Ninja To's as well.

I`ve collected knives since I was a kid and I`ve probably got 50 or more. Everything from a very early bone handled Bowie knife to Case and Buck knives. I also have a vintage military switchblade, several vintage Swiss Army knives, a couple vintage scout knives and a ton of handy pocketknives from Gerber, Schrade, and Boker. I have a spring assisted Gerber knife that I carry with me wherever I go.

I have a Gerber folding knife. It was a Christmas gift from my son and daughter-in-law about 6 years ago. It has cleaned at least 6 moose and a few deer in that time and I finally sharpened it for the first time before this years moose hunt. The other guy's were amazed at how sharp it was and how well it keeps an edge. It is the best hunting knife I have ever owned but I am sure there are better around.

Just bought two new boning knives for the up and coming deer season. Forsners made in Switzerland. Man are they sharp and do hold their edge. The point on em are dangerous. They are dual purpose i guess you can say just in case you loose your razor and need to shave. Very satisfied. I pack a folder when i head to the woods.
