No, but I chipped some off as I was beating the snot out of it with a hammer, trying to get it good enough to close. LolLook on the bright side...doesn't look like you scratched the paint
(Not too soon, I hope)
Good idea. The scenery is much better on the lower side of Missouri. What your destination?
It’s definitely a lesson I won’t forget.I did something similar to my first car. Didn’t realize it until just now that it is probably why I am a bit fanatical about having a working e-brake.
We actually had everything unloaded out of the Duster and into the 200, then we tried for the 3rd time to get the door adjusted enough to close and finally succeeded! So we loaded everything back in the Duster, said a prayer and hit the road.Sucks about the accident but kudos to you and marge for hammering that **** out and soldiering on. Trips like this make memories and if you just gave in and got in the Chrysler 200 you’d forget the trip in 2 days.
I strongly agree with this!Sucks about the accident but kudos to you and marge for hammering that **** out and soldiering on. Trips like this make memories and if you just gave in and got in the Chrysler 200 you’d forget the trip in 2 days.
Yeah it’s got a full HDK front suspension, as well as MP oval track springs in the rear.I strongly agree with this!
I have done numerous trips to Louisville Colorado and back (500+ miles one way).
I've even taken the scenic backroads to there. It's just an experience not forgotten. The people I met at restaurants and gas stations that saw my car and just started talking.
The winding mountain passes were fun! Few years ago I had to slow down quite a bit. But with all the suspension goodies and modern tires (*gasp* I know 17 inch rim/tires), she hugs the corners superbly. But the OP looks like he has 17 inch rims as well.
@75slant6 Do you have any stuff done to your suspension? Just curious.
