You working on the Scamp on the weekend?
I think so fixing the dash pad and making another shopping list for parts right now. Hopping some boys come over so I can put the hood on and see if the carb. and air cleaner fit under the hood. looks to me like it won't fit and will have to cut a hole in it.
I want to put LED head lights in at some point so will have to talk to FOG on that.
Next week will (I hope) take the glass down to the window guy and have all the glass tinted.

They can tint it when it's in the car can't they? You going to install the glass yourself Fred? Pretty easy and with your talent shouldn't be a problem. If you run into problems email me.

You can't tint glass? Holy crap, you can do everything else.:poke:.
I think it's gonna hit 50 degrees today. Sunny. Got the shop door open and the sun is beating inside. Wind is picking up. Probably snow tomorrow. Lol.

Thanks Mark I will. Glass guy said the front and rear glass needs to be out to tint them. side glass is no big deal installed to tint.
Would like to do my own tinting but I don't think I could do a good enough job.

I did a old cheby van one time...lots of windows and came out nice actually. The first time I had done one. Just like putting a decal on actually or doing woodgrain on a wagon. Just use a lot of soapy water and squeegee it well.

I might try Mark I did a Prevost bus I had that I turned into a motor home years ago and looked OK.
Not the end of the world I could rip it off and try again.

I've never done it either. Gonna try one of these days. Dirt is probably a big deal.
Not really. You clean the window and then spray lots of water on the back of the tint and lay it on just like doing wallpaper actually. I did it on a sunny day so you putt he vehicle out in the warm sun and that got rid of any air bubbles. I used a plastic body filler applicator and lots of soupy water to squeegee it. Worked well.
