Secret is after you cut the line with the proper cut off tool , clean the bur outa the inside of the Line .make sure the end is true .

I did that Biff but my eye sight sucks so will try one more time and if I get a hint of a leak going to braided lines already made up.

Had a buddy with a small block cheby would blow the belt at 7500 rpm every time dented his hood on like the 5th time it blew off man that car flew !
