Hey Mark you should post the Email you sent me about China made food, it sure made an impression on me.
Not the one about G forces we will keep that one. lol
I didn't keep it Fred but sure an eye opener. Maybe your son will try that when he gets the plane flying again lol. Confucius say "woman who fly upside down in airplane have crack up"

I have to wonder if that isn't why the death percentage numbers are higher in places like New York. Probably way off base. Just speculating. Scares the **** out of me that we are opening up too soon but poverty can kill too.
Way too early, at least another 4-6 weeks before we lick this thing

Went to the local grocery store today. Took out everything that I usually buy, and replaced it all with different brands, smaller proportions, and higher prices. I think they just priced me out of their store
First thing you do when buying food especially frozen food and canned goods. Read the label!! See where it was processed. For example Captain Highliner is a good American name right? Fish are raised on fish farms in China and literally eat garbage then processed there and shipped over to North America. That's just an example. So "READ THE LABELS!!!!". We need to eliminate anything coming from China, their working standards and safety standards are way below ours. You've all heard of lead paint being used on kids toys and the list goes on and on. If we keep buying things from China we'll be the Third World countries. We may have to pay more for things made here because of the higher wages etc but we'll be richer in the long run.

We have a Smiths store in town. They have been awesome. They make Super One look like a poop. They seem to really care about us. Working hard and trying to fill the voids with off the wall providers. IE, Houterite potatoes and some "cowboy" individual toilet paper. Some rationing though. I guess that's good but brings people back to the store more often.
And in the future. In the U.K. they are naming stores on-line who are gouging. Excellent idea!!!

Morning everyone. Hope everyone had a great evening. Here's a good song and appropriate seeing this is Saturday. BUT stay home and crank it up.

The sun is shining and supposed to be 9 today and tomorrow so get outside and get some fresh air and enjoy your day at home. Have a good one guys cya

All this hugging talk has got me all choked up , at least we can hug the ones in our house .

Stopped in at my buddy's house yesterday to wish him a Happy B'day, had to stand by the door and talk as one of his sons has severe asthma and is terrified of getting this virus, he hasn't left the house in 2 months. (He's 32 years old) He and his 29 year old brother are still living in mom and dad's basement, no wonder my buddy and his wife drink!

Morning guys, marine fog so thick I can’t see the telephone poles a block away , supposed to clear up around noon , did a late night shop at Costco after work , waited out side for a short time , got every thing we needed ,should be ok for another month. Happy weekend! Stay safe out there. !

I moved out of my mom's house at 17 she drove me nuts. lol

I can't believe that they haven't been booted out by now. They did move out for a while, but have been back for 5 years or more, personally, I couldn't allow it.

I know that it drives my buddy crazy, the older one doesn't work, the younger one finally got back working after 2 or 3 years battling health issues, but wife seems to like not having an empty nest.

That should apply to everything we buy from here forward. We have given far too much of our economic power to China, I blame both consumers and corporations, one wants everything they buy to be cheap, and the other wants to maximize profit. Yes it costs more to buy products made in the U.S. and Canada, but look where we have put ourselves. It will be tough, but we will ultimately rebuild our own nation's wealth and prosperity by employing and empowering our own people.

I stopped watching shows like "Shark Tank" because all the "investors" want to do is send the production offshore to maximize profit. Eventually you will have no market when all of your consumers have no income other than welfare.

Mine all left at about 18 except the oldest son was 22 he stayed around the house after my wife died to help with the younger kids. I think it was hard for him he wanted to move out on his own but knew I needed his help.
