The last field will be corn. I just got back in from planting that field I let dry in the sun today. Just the 1 field left that will be corn but rain coming and it is low black ground that did not dry out enough today.

i woke up to the sound of rain this morning
then to the sound of my oldest whining he was hungry...not bad untill you realize hes old enough to know how to make basic breakfast items, like cereal or sandwiches
our gulag opened up the boat launches a week or two ago (what in idiotic decision that was to close them to begin with)

They returned too early. Can't do that, slow and sure is the only way. Some of the boneheads were protesting the lockdown. Guess now they found out the hard way.
We bought a tree the other day and planted it in the backyard. I had to move a birdhouse so we did that today. I was standing on the 3rd step of the ladder driving the pole in the ground. Looked perfect.
Coming down the ladder I thought I was on the second step and fell to the ground with sledge in hand. Didn't I land on my wife's leg and so now she has my leg brace on and limping badly. She thinks it will be fine in a couple of days and may have stretched a tendon. Felt really bad but it was an accident. Hope you had a better day than us. At least nothing got broken.

I hope shes alright. I've done done that a few times. That can really mess a guy up sometimes.That straight legged jolt to the back.
