That is sad biff. Hard to lose an old friend. I've been very lucky as all my friends new and old are still on the green side. Hope his passing was quick is all you can hope for.
Hope the kids finish the Hemi car in his honour or maybe you could do it?

My buddy who had the Gasser called Casper he bought a brand new 66 Coronet 2 dr sd Hemi 4 speed. Supposed to be only 29 that came to Canada. The Hemi came out and was put into Casper but raced the Coronet as well.

Been another stella day. Had our first BBQ on the deck. The first one is always the best it seems. Went for a drive and dropped in to see my friend that had the Coronet and Casper. He has a 69 Dart with a 535 HP 408 4speed. 78 years old now but still a motorhead and a clever one too.

Nope. No really. One ended up marrying a friend so kind of there. She died in a car wreck along with one of their babies. Another was pretty young and was the mother of my son. She died from Lupus. The other I almost asked to marry but chose the one I've been with for thirty two years now. I was dating both of them for a while. I was a bit of a rooster until I married.

Oh dear to die in a car wreck and one of her children is awful. Your son must miss his mom a lot. It 's a wonder they didn't kill you BP lol. You obviously made the right move and congrats on the 32 years also. We're coming up to 48 years this June. We started going together when I was 14 and my wife was 13 and went together for 10 yrs before getting married. I know I picked the right one.

I remember you stating that earlier. That really amazed me. Don't here stories like that much any more. Congratulations to you too.
 
Ya that car wreck tugged on a lot of peoples hearts in our little community. There was another baby in the back seat that didn't get a scratch. She got hung up in some slush in a low car and hydroplaned sideways into on coming traffic.
 
By the way all my American friends, Happy Memorial weekend to everyone. But keep your distance and wear that mask if you're out. It'll just might save your life.
 
Morning everyone. We had some much needed rain overnight and was coming down hard at times. Temps will be hovering around 30c this week plus a humidex. The weekend looks fantastic for the car run as well. Better not hoax it.

Morning Mark you can have all of our rain. It seems not to stop for us. We have had 8 inches in 2 weeks. Flooding all over and farmers cant get planted while those that did are losing it to ponds forming in the fields.

we do have our picnic at church today, so im excited about that
nice to be around like minded people and enjoy some food and fellowship

Hi guys, it's been a hot humid one today. It's come in too fast and had to acclimatize.
Then we had the power turned off from 1-4 to hook all new power lines down the street. All new poles and upgraded the power lines as well. Those guy were right in the open sun with coveralls, big boots and safety vests on so I went out with 4 cold bottles of water. I think I have 4 new freinds for life.
