Oh I forgot about that. Might be a few less cars cause the Canadians cant make it. Lots of folks fro Idaho and Washington.I'd like to check that out, but of course the friggin border is still closed.
Yes our Dr. In charge here in B.C. says if you can’t guarantee that you can social distance wear a mask mandatory on the BC ferries now all the planes of course our drag race was cancelled fall fair etc, sounds like minor hockey might start in January but it’s all up in the air still , no hockey camps there is a daycamp but only six people on the ice at a time .
Would have been a nice trip in the Ventura, done it a few times with that car.
Coeur d'Alene Idaho has some good shows too.
Yeah there's a big one just north of CDA in Sandpoint. Not sure of the date, or if it's a go this year either. Another one I'd like to catch.
I'd rather go to a car show and stand back away from people than go swimming with them. Sounds stupid to me.
Friend of mine lives on the island, I think he's in Torquemasters club.

First time to be an empty nester? Good luck to him and hope it goes well
They just announced Autofest is now cancelled. It's three day event. On the Friday night they literally close down the whole of Oshawa downtown and there are cars all over the place. People running a round with headers open and doing burnouts. Thankfully the cops look the other way unless they get too stupid.
Then on Sat and Sun. the big car show at Lake Vista Park at the lake. All the profits go to a children's home here in Oshawa. Been going on for over 25 yrs

gotta tell ya, im kinda miffed
as of past monday, the gulag has lifted some of the stranglehold they had on our economy and allowed dine in (at half capacity) again
so i got a sitter for tomorrow nite, and called our favorite restaurant to make a reservation
(now, you got to realize, we got ONE nice restaurant in town, everything else is like eating at a bar)
so I said, yes, table for two for tomorrow...and the kid said "we don't do dine in yet"
I don't even get it, but as I said, im miffed
