I looked out around suppertime and saw someone's blue box drifting down the road in hot pursuit of what was it's contents. It was moving pretty fastNot putting my garbage out , garbage can will be in the next block !
I think I just saw it go by CF!
They expect to get a reward for losing. This is what they are taught these days. Boy are they in for a big surprise in the work world.Well another day at the rink , what is it with teenagers , disrespectful little pukes , omg I did not treat disrespect with respect in this game , chirped at every call, and I was just a linespearson .grrrrr.
I like my bacon crispy but I have my limits you know.
Just glad to see you.
My drive way is mostly 5/8 gravel so If I read you right the skid feet don't work real good so put wheels on mine to keep from throwing rocks around but it does leave snow behind but what the hell I can still drive my car through it.No damage around here but a roof got ripped off an apt building just North of us.
Some people are just now getting their hydro back on. I was out at Wally World this morning and did some other running around. Still cold and nasty outside but at least the rain had stopped.
I bought some new skid feet for the snowblower today. Mine are worn right down. Has anyone tried the plastic ones? I bought them and thought I might try them. One good thing is that you can turn them over and use the other side when they do wear down. Give me your thoughts guys.
Like the girl in parts said "they don't leave scrape marks on the driveway". I don't give a rats about that my concern is how long do they last being plastic. I got them for 30 bucks less 10% so won't break me and the same price for the metal ones.
The metal ones I've always used worked great. The way I understand to set them up is to get two paint stir sticks and put them under each side of the scraper blade and then drop the feet flat on the ground and tighten the bolts. This way you don't wear the scraper blade down and it will leave a thin layer of snow on the driveway but it'll melt anyway. Am I right with that?My drive way is mostly 5/8 gravel so If I read you right the skid feet don't work real good so put wheels on mine to keep from throwing rocks around but it does leave snow behind but what the hell I can still drive my car through it.
Yea your right but here it don't melt till spring. and most of us have gravel not cement driveways and no sidewalks in my town. The metal ones I've always used worked great. That sure is something to think about Fred. They would never wear down or would take a long long time. Just might look into that. Should work really well on a paved driveway. Supper time guys so have a great evening.Yea your right but here it don't melt till spring. and most of us have gravel not cement driveways and no sidewalks in my town.
Wheels instead of skid feet work great here but is a home made thing.
