Morning Mark, yep tried the salt.
The main line is about 70 feet long and pretty much all of it if frozen so best to cut it off and replace it i'm guessing.
That could have turned out real nasty FOG. My cousin in Australia had knee surgery and a clot went up into his brain. Landed up with Vascular Dementia and slowly went downhill and passed away two years ago. Glad they're keeping an eye on it.

Could also get a lot of trouble as well if you're not careful. It was sold/traded in for a reason

-8c at present but snowed during the night. Doesn't look too bad at present but more coming. The kids were supposed to go back to school today after being on virtual education after all the Covid shutdowns. So now they are having a snow day because no busses running. They could go virtual again but my guess is they won't. Thursday will the same. Seems all it takes is a few flakes around and they shut the school buses down these days. Ok, they just announced that virtual schooling will be on today. Keep warm and safe buddy.
School has changed a lot since we were kids I remember bringing lunch boxes and trading sandwiches with friends. lol
I always rode my bike home at lunchtime when in grade school. Rode it everyday regardless of weather. Up hill both ways lol.

I need to get a bike would be good exercise.
I had to give mine up about 12 yrs ago. I've got arthritis in my left kneecap and was making me limp even with a knee brace. I sure miss it though. I would bike 7-8 km a day. Kept me in good shape though.
My brother has an electric bike and he loves it he has bad knees as well.
But it cost him around $1500.

I hate those dam things. They're ok for riding around a camp ground but they are way too underpowered for street use and a death trap. No Ins or license required to ride those things. I had a girl riding on the sidewalk (not allowed) come onto the road as I was making a left turn while in the Cuda and dam near "T" bone me in the left door. If I hadn't heard he scream I wouldn't have seen her. She just kept on going DUMB BROAD!!!

Neighbour is out shoveling. Worse than I thought. I was thinking 3" but looks like at least 6" out there. Snow blower will earn it's keep this morning for sure.
Wow looked like 3 from here but ya never know till the shovel comes out.
Glad you have a snow blower much easier.
