Went to an action down the road from me and found all kinds of good stuff I could buy but came home without buying anything.
CF would have loved it all kinds of farm equipment as well as an Edsel, 29 A with a rumble seat and even a few old :wtf: is that Items.

As I get older I have learned to like the Edsel. Dad said the grille looked like what is in a girls panties. lmao

This one was good to my surprise all the chrome trim and bumpers were in great shape and rockers and 1/4 lowers were nice and clean but needed a repaint and front seat. Didn't stay to see how much it went for but looked to be in running shape.

A guy that comes to the car shows has 3 of them. He has just purchased his 3rd one over the Winter.
 
Found pictures of two of his Edsels. The black one was his last purchase. It was stored for 30+ years but now it's running and driving. There is a video of him pulling out of the garage but can't post it on here.

that reminds me of a funny story

a few years back we were visiting my parents back in the old country and my oldest (then maybe 5 or 6) was playing upstairs with his cousins
at some point he comes running down the stairs and goes "dad, how do you say 'fire' in Dutch?"
so say "vuur" and he goes, thanks dad

my wife is staring at me with her mouth open and i go, what?

she goes...dont you think you should see what that was all about?

You are welcome. The Medical Services here in ND have been outstanding in getting shots in arms. I think we are top 3 for that. When we got our shots they had extra that day, so the National Guard went around town to recruit enough people to use before expiration.
 
Friday made it, lets get a good start on the day.
Mexican cornbread is done and in the fridge, boiling potatoes now for potatoe salad, fish fry at 12, start cooking fresh Crappie, Brim and bass at 11.

Have a dandy day everyone, feeding 8 friends today.

When this happens to me in my trade I just mention it once to cover my *** then I keep my mouth shut and let the proverbial **** hit the fan. Kinda fun that way. Have witnessed many know it all foremen walking down the road kicking stones talking to themselves. The higher ups notice where the work actually gets done. What goes around comes around. Just be cool.

I agree I will not say anything more but if they give him the job it will get ugly and I will have the last laugh.
