Well, just got done reading the obituary of another one of my buddies.
Squished himself under his UTV. He wasn't strapped in for some reason. Had his little girl with him. She was strapped in. Pretty sad deal.
He was 34. Worked with him for a few years. He was a good one.
Oh sorry to hear that BP....Hard to lose a good friend. Thankfully all my friends are still around but there will be a day eventually. Lost life just because of a seat belt, a real shame.

Well I mowed the dandelions in the yard today and just sitting back now and enjoying the view of my yard that needs more attention and a whiskey trying to figure out what for dinner. Have a good evening my friends.

I found out some interesting facts about dandelions, they're actually good for something

Wine and the 1st to bloom for bees.
Also they break up compacted soils, they bring up calcium from the soil & when we cut it then it feeds the grass. 100% yes with the precious honey & bumble bees, they love them. I'm making a placard to put on the back of my riding lawn mower "frequent stops for honey bees" since I stop & wait for them to get out of the way or finish up

Bees got plenty to eat around here. Nuke them bastards. Plus I got PLENTY off calcium in my water
. I spray once in the spring and dig them up the rest of the year due to the foraging critters. Probably have the least amount of dandelions as anyone in the neighbor hood.

Just got back in the house. Wow what a kick *** weekend. We stripped a car, swapped the motor and trans, swapped the rear axle, lifted the body off pulled all the rubber mounts out and set the body back down along with bolting it in place. She is now only about an hour or 2 from being able to start and drive. Then the welding begins.

My wife use to fry them in a batter for dinner or in a salad because she was a health food junkey and tried to do her best to keep her family healthy. Yea there good for something.

I have 0 in my yard because I let them do there job & then they disappear. I was digging them out after about 20 hours I did some reading. Reading & letting them work was alot easier than spraying & shoveling them out...1 exception is when you break ground it's aeration & that's good.

Son and his friends came over to enjoy an evening on the lake next to me.Put the paddle boat on the back of the old truck and went to the lake and had a great time.

My wife & I hosted a fellow fabo member for 3 nights. He is a photographer & did the weekend probably about 24 hours of snapping pics.
Yesterday I saved my sister in law from a panic attack, she has a fear of driving next to cliffs, anyway she went into a panic & tried to turn around but got herself stuck in the ditch.
(She wasn't really stuck)
I washed my Ram today.
Last week I took apart a very low mile 400 engine from a 3/4 ton 2wd, found very nice bearings, rings were nice (none stuck)
I want to take my 3.75 b-main crank in and put a stock rod piston combo in and see how far they stick out of the deck.
This isn't around the house but I start a new adventure Wednesday @ a machine shop.
Very excited

Them damned atv's have killed too many good people. My sis in law lost 2 ranch neighbors to roll overs.

There was a red lab running around with some small kids at the lake and no pictures but the kids would throw a ball off the dock and the lab would jump in the water and fetch the ball and give it back to the kids. That lasted a long time till the dog got tired and last time the dog grabbed the ball and headed to the camp tailor. Really hope the kids realize what a great friend they have.
